In light of recent Government announcement with regards to return to work

Dear Neighbours of Field Farm

We are writing to let you know that following the announcement by the Prime Minister on Sunday 10th May, 2020, we will commence the progressive opening of the Site / Office on the 18th May, 2020.

We have signed up to the Governments Charter for Construction and will be operating the site / Office in accordance with Government advice, information on this can be found on signs around the site and details on the House Builders Federation website: https://www.hbf.co.uk/policy/coronavirus/

Initially we will be limiting attendance to site, so that the necessary alterations can be installed prior to progressively increasing the trades back on site. Please be assured that where possible, staff are working from home and that cleansing stations have been provided throughout the organisation.

All of our staff and contractors are being fully briefed on their initial attendance to site and are expected to abide by the Social Distancing Rules. We would be grateful if you could advise covidmonitorinq@westermanhomes.co.uk if you see any occurrence of Social Distancing “failures”. Please provide a description of clothing, location, timing and number of individuals and if possible, what activity they were undertaking and where on the site to enable us to investigate the incident.

Please be aware that there may be occasions where Social Distancing will be relaxed. These have been confirmed by the government and our trade bodies as including where workers are from the same household, workers wearing face masks and gloves and for periods not exceeding 15 minutes.

The Site Manager will be aware of all authorised occurrences and therefore will have prepared risk assessed the impact of reduced distancing for these incidences. It is the un-authorised / forgetful incidents which we want to ensure do not repeatedly happen. We have advised all site attendees that breaches of Social Distance will be treated very robustly.

Thank you for any helpful input you may provide and hope that you remain safe and well.

Yours sincerely

Robert Westerman
Managing Director
